Cranberry Evergreen Candle
Ingredients
- Small glass vase
- Pine needles
- 1 cup cranberries
- Floating candle
- Enough water to fill case
Directions
Place pine needles in the bottom of the vase and put the cranberries in on top of them.
Fill the vase with water about 3/4 of the way full. Place the Candle in the top. The cranberries will naturally float to the top and the candle will float in the middle, making a great centerpiece for the holidays.
The candle will last for a while, just change the water every couple of days.
Description
Around Christmas time it is always fun to find new ways to decorate. Everyone has cranberries and pine needles around the house during the holidays, and here is a creative way to use them to decorate. My mom and one of her friends Marilyn Dammer used to make these candles. They would decorate their tables with it and they would also give them as gifts. If you wrap all of the ingredients together without the water it makes a very festive and creative gift that lasts throughout the holiday season.
