Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 pkg (3.4 oz) dry vanilla pudding mix
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/4 cup flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 (12 oz) pkg of chocolate chips
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350°
Cream together the butter, sugar, vanilla, and pudding mix until creamy. Beat in eggs.
Add the dry ingredients and mix well. Add chocolate chips and blend into mixture. I use less chocolate chips than most recipes. I only use half the bag.
Place on baking sheet-two inches apart.
Bake 10-12 minutes.
Enjoy with a tall glass of milk!!
Description
Who doesn't like chocolate chip cookies? These were the first cookies I learned how to bake. And there are many different recipes you can find out there but these chocolate chip cookies are unlike others you may have tried. They call for a special ingredient that isn't often found in cookies. One package of dry vanilla pudding mix. They give the cookie a wonderful hint of vanilla. I recently bought a Kitchen Aid Mixer and I had to try it out with a batch of cookies. My brother is visiting from Virginia so I tried them out on him. The recipe was sure a keeper!!

Wow! These are the BEST homemade chocolate chip cookies I have ever made! The vanilla pudding takes them to a whole new level of goodness :)
My daughter proudly brought them to school to share... and they were a hit! Thanks
